Are you someone who likes the road less taken? When you come to a fork in the road, do you choose both paths? Do you like the crunch of leaves, the splatter of mud and the impact of two wheels on a rugged trail?
This closed course, loop will you take you through Cleveland Metroparks Bedford Reservation utilizing a single track, park roads and sections of the all-purpose trail. New for 2018: Youth Race added!
2018 RACE ROUTES
This race is presented by Cleveland Metroparks Outdoor Recreation Department. Please consider donating to the Trails Fund when registering to support continued rehabilitation of the Park District’s trail system.
Race Distances & Categories:
- Beginners - one lap, 8~ miles
- Advanced - two laps, 16~ miles
- Youth (ages 11-13) - three short laps, 3~ miles
- Youth (ages 8-10) - two short laps, 2~ miles
- Youth (ages 5-7) - one short lap, 1~ mile
Fees:
- Beginner & Advanced - $35, includes NEOCycle MTB t-shirt (as supplies last)
- Youth (ages 8-13) - $15, includes NEOCycle MTB t-shirt OR Hoo-rag bandana (as supplies last)
- Youth (ages 5-7) - FREE day-of registration ONLY.

- Race routes can be viewed here.
- Portions of Bedford Reservation will be closed to host this event, all guests must use the Taylor Parkway entrance just north of Shawnee Hills Golf Course to get to Egbert Shelter. You will not be able to enter the park at either of the other entrances.
- This event will be cancelled if Bedford Singletrack is closed due to conditions, so please check our social media for updates (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube).
- Registered riders will receive a NEOCycle XC Mountain Bike Race T-shirt
- The specific course route utilizes Bedford Reservation’s Singletrack, gravel sections, all-purpose trails and portions of the closed park road.
