The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission has a year of large scale sporting events scheduled for 2017. Cleveland continues to be a leader in the hosting of significant national sporting events, including the  Junior Volleyball Association Rock ‘N Rumble (JVA) which returns to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland on Jan. 21-22, 2017 in Downtown Cleveland.

This two-day tournament will bring more than 300 girls volleyball teams and their families from various regions of the United States and Canada. Additionally, an estimated 5,000 spectators will be in attendance which will bring in a projected $2.5 million in economic revenue for the City of Cleveland. JVA has also committed to host tournaments in Northeast Ohio through 2020.
