Bethann Sedam joined the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (GCSC) staff in 2007 on a part time basis as their first Director of Finance. She began her career in public accounting before moving to the private sector, where she ultimately created her own firm, S&G Associates, Inc. Her firm fills a niche by offering high level accounting skills to multiple non-profit organizations, in Northeast Ohio area, that would be unable to afford these service though a full time chief financial officer.
She graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and she will say luckily immediately passed her CPA exam. While Assistant Treasurer of the Scott Fetzer Company, she had the opportunity to earn her Master's in of Business Administration at CWRU Weatherhead School of Management.
Beth Ann has lived on the Westside of Cleveland all her life, but will venture to the other side of town to pursue her love of food and shopping. You are more likely to catch her with an e-reader or book in her hand, unless she is on the links pretending to be a golfer. She now calls Westlake home, which she enjoys with her husband Jeffery and two sons Tyler and Kyle.
